Old things are being lightened

Chapter {1} Light
"Ive found you've got to look back at the old things and see them in a new light".
John Coltrane

For Reem Eyal it was always about light.

Since he was young, he was engineering almost everything he had founded in the streets into lighting, (lighted reused coca-cola / street signs were regularly hung in his room).

Chapter {2} Old things
"An old thing becomes new if you detach it from what usually surrounds it"
Robert Bresson

After the death of his grandmother, Eyal cleaned her apartment and embraced all her stuff to his bosom.

When he was studying Architecture in Bezalel Academy, he was in an exchange student program in Berlin. There, he was introduced to all the fascinating flee markets in the area. In those frequent markets visits, he bought lots of old stuff and started his design-upcycle journey, which ended with beautiful ready made light fixtures.
